How to rehab a Rotator Cuff Related Shoulder Injury?

Shoulders pain or injuries can be very complicated. There are joints, bones, muscles, tendons, ligaments, nerves, arteries to think about when it comes to the shoulder. Over and above these many tissues, you have a very mobile joint that requires a lot of multiplanar movements throughout the day. And depending on your lifestyle, it requires a lot of speed, or load daily.

So when you start developing shoulder pain, or if you’ve had some trauma to the result that resulted in an injury, it’s important to figure out what is hurt, what compensations have occurred, and what are the best exercises to help you get back to doing what you love doing.

This is where Kinesiology can be very effective in getting you back to where you want to be. At Travis Michelson Kinesiology, I check range of motion, strength stability, movement patterns, and posture of the joints and muscles surrounding the shoulder. Once I have identified the potential causes of of poor movement patterns, I work through a progressive exercise program to get you back your end goal.

If you need any help with your shoulder pain, or a previous injury, book an initial assessment by emailing me at travis@tmkin.ca or booking online –> https://tmkin.setmore.com/ and I would be happy to help!
